The Institute of English Studies School of Advanced Study University of London will be hosting a one day conference on Jane Austen’s Men.

‘Jane Austen’s clergymen’: Gavin Turner (formerly Chairman, Jane Austen Bath and Bristol Group)

‘Jane Austen’s men: the marriage market and the changing fortunes of the landed class’: Dr Robert Clark (Editor, The Literary Encyclopedia, formerly UEA).
