Friday evening talk: Regency Fashion
A weekend full of diversions to immerse any Jane Austen devotee in the style of Regency England with a literary theme. For more information visit the Governor’s House in Hyde Park’s Jane Austen Weekends event page.

On The Spot remounts their first ever scripted full-length 2-act play format set in the world of Jane Austen with all the gore, suspense and effects of a zombie thriller.
Jane Austen’s Emma adapted by Michael Bloom and directed by Kathryn MacMillan will be performed by the Lantern Theater Company during October.
Hollow City, the second novel of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs will be available in bookstores.
The School of Performance at the Arts University Bournemouth will be presenting a brand new adaptation of Jane Austen’s Persuasion, at the Pavilion Dance South West, Bournemouth, UK.
Chamber Opera Chicago presents an original Adaptation by Barbara Landis, with music from Jane Austen’s manuscripts: Jane Austen’s Persuasion.
Peregrine’s Home for Peculiars is planned to be out in theaters July 31, 2015. The film is based on Ransom Riggs‘ debut novel, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. It will be directed by Tim Burton. The script will be written by Jane Goldman, who also worked on X-Men: First Class.
