Though I allowed an entire month to go by before officially stating my challenge acceptance terms for the Pride and Prejudice Bicentenary challenge 2013 hosted by Austenprose, here they are.
First condition: Stating my level of participation. I shall be working toward the Aficionada with 11 selections.
Second condition: List my chosen selections.
February – Pulse and Prejudice by Colette Saucier (with DJABC)
March – The Exploits & Adventures of Miss Alethea Darcy by Elizabeth Aston
April – Watch Pride and Prejudice (2005)
May – Watch Becoming Jane
June – Watch Bride and Prejudice
July – Pride and Platypus by Vera Nazarian (with DJABC)
August – Pride and Pyramids by Amanda Grange
September – Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith (with DJABC)
October – His Good Opinion by Nancy Kelley
November – Mr. Darcy’s Diary by Amanda Grange
December – Wickham’s Diary by Amanda Grange
So there you have it, how I intend to participate in the P&P bicentenary challenge. I may end up doing a few more. I am after all a member of this book club, and though I tried to add other books than the ones I’m already planning on reading, those months where DJABC reading selections lend themselves to the challenge may also be months I find time for something additional. It all depends.
Are you joining in the challenge? Do you think I’m slightly insane for taking on so much? Have any suggestions for selections?
